In these last few days before the show it's gonna be a mad scramble to get everything i want to have finished done. I have 2 canvases in the works but i think only one will get done.
A run to the printer needs to made made, and stickers have to be drawn. Cereal needs to be eaten and shoprite cola drank. Might throw some saltine cracker time in there too.
This picture is an up close shot of the canvas i know will get done. I went a little crazy on the fill and simple in the background. I think its gonna have a cool look to it in the end but we'll see. Might be a pile of crap, i dont know.
One thing that was really cool about working on this show was how well everyone worked together. I have done small group shows before but never had the opportunity to really work with other artists in the way that this show is all about. El Toro is the man. He busted his ass to make sure everyone was on point and involved. Big thanks to him for getting me in gear for the past 2 months.
If ya havent seen it scope out the flier. Come on by! We have prints and limited edition tee shirts as well. A shit ton of collab canvases and solo jazz. Should be a great time. Got a little after party action going on too.
